You can now fly from Phoenix to Cabo, Mexico for $89 for a one-way ticket.
On Tuesday, March 19, Frontier Airlines announced new routes. One of these flights was its first international flight out of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, to Los Cabos, Mexico.
This is another option for travelers to fly between Phoenix and Mexico, as Sky Harbor is already offering non-stop flights between Phoenix and Mexico. The flights are going to 12 cities including Tijuana, which was introduced in February.
As travel keeps on increasing after the pandemic, and is almost back at pre-pandemic levels, carriers have added multiple flights to Canada and Mexico from Phoenix.
American Airlines and Southwest Airlines were already flying nonstop to Los Cabos, now Frontier will join them.

When will the Phoenix-Los Cabos route begin?
The Frontier Airlines route from Phoenix to Los Cabos will start on May 16, 2024. Flights will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.
How much will Frontier Airlines’ Phoenix-Los Cabos flights cost?
The cheapest price for a ticket is $89 one-way. Frontier Airlines uses a business model where they charge low basic fares. However, there are additional fees for seat assignments, carry-on, and checked bags. Return flights from Los Cabos to Phoenix will start at $118.

Los Cabos, Mexico, is known for two towns. Both of these towns are part of a resort area. One town is called Cabo San Lucas, while the other one is called San José del Cabo.
